Role Description
The Program & Governance Lead is responsible for driving a scalable governance and execution framework that enables predictable delivery, strategic alignment, risk management, and operational excellence across the Global Capability Center (GCC). The role serves as the central orchestrator for governance forums, oversight, executive reporting and cross-functional program management.
The incumbent will partner closely with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, HR, Finance, Legal, and Enterprise stakeholders to ensure critical initiatives are executed with transparency, discipline, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Executive Cadence
- Establish and manage tactical and operational governance forums.
- Drive decision-making processes, escalation management, and leadership alignment.
- Develop executive dashboards, briefing materials, and leadership-ready reporting.
- Maintain governance calendars, forums, action logs, and decision registers.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of program risks and issues.
Project Management
- Drive project planning, dependency management, milestone tracking, and execution discipline.
- Lead RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management practices.
- Establish consistent standards, templates, and delivery methodologies.
- Monitor project health and provide objective insights to leadership teams.
Risk, Controls & Audit Readiness
- Coordinate governance activities related to operational risk, compliance, and controls.
- Maintain evidence repositories and support audit and regulatory reviews.
- Track remediation actions and control commitments through closure.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Business Transformation & Change
- Support organizational transformation, capability build-outs, and strategic change initiatives.
- Develop implementation roadmaps, readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive execution of enterprise priorities.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Establish KPI frameworks and performance measurement mechanisms.
- Drive data quality, reporting automation, and governance analytics.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships across business and technology leadership.
- Foster alignment across global and local stakeholder groups.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Governance, or Operations Excellence.
- Experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of building governance frameworks and operating rhythms.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and executive escalations.
