​​We are seeking a Specialist AI Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering team that builds software using modern AI-augmented development practices. In this role, you will leverage Generative AI tools throughout the full development lifecycle — from design and coding to testing and documentation — while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and maintainability. This position is ideal for engineers with a solid software engineering foundation who are curious, adaptable, and eager to deepen their expertise at the intersection of software engineering and AI.​

What you have

Required:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

•2+ years of software development experience.

•Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including:
   o Algorithms and data structures
   o Object-oriented programming and common design patterns
   o Basic system design
   o Databases and networking
   o Concurrency fundamentals
   o Testing and CI/CD
   o Secure coding principles Hands-on experience using GenAI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) in day-to-day development.

•Proficiency in Java or .NET.

•Ability to critically review AI-generated code for bugs, security issues, and code quality.

•Exposure to agentic workflows and spec-driven development concepts, with the ability to translate basic design artifacts into AI-ready task specifications.

•Practical experience with prompt engineering and authoring custom instructions to improve AI-assisted development outcomes.

•Independently applies application maintenance practices and collaborates to ensure continuous support.

•Tracks data pipelines and stores to support analytics and machine learning.

•Handles incident responses independently while working with cross-functional teams to lessen impact.

•Executes rigorous testing to ensure systems and products meet quality standards.

•Effectively prioritizes requirements using roadmaps, epics, and backlogs.

•Independently implements security controls to secure the IT environment.

•Independently executes software design techniques that meet project requirements.

•Applies standards and processes to create and verify software components.

•Deploys software updates using containerization and orchestration tools.

•Utilizes predictive or adaptive lifecycle models to develop system design components

​ Preferred:
​•Exposure to building or extending AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, Copilot Workspace, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
•Experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
•Familiarity with secure coding practices.
•Experience contributing to modernization of legacy applications.
