In this role within Cybersecurity Operations, you will partner with application teams and other Schwab Technology Services stakeholders to monitor and assist in implementing solutions aligned to Identity, Authentication, and Access Management (IAAM) Standard requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with privileged access management technologies and collaborating in cross-functional teams to ensure foundational security standards operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute direct contact and outreach to Schwab application architects, SMEs, and other stakeholders to evaluate current state against company standards for privileged access use cases.
- Manage monitoring, backlog inventory and milestone tracking of control deployment and operation.
- Strong communicator comfortable with a varied set of applications and coordination across multi-functional teams.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or non-technical bachelor’s degree with equivalent information technology work experience.
- 4 years of Cybersecurity and/or Identity & Access Management experience.
Authentication and authorization domain expertise with Unix/Linux server infrastructure in a Red Hat Linux environment - Familiarity with Unix/Linux privilege elevation & related access permissions in Unix/Linux environment (e.g. sudo)
- Demonstrated experience working within a complex and matrixed environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support monitoring scope. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, synthesize key themes, and provide a concise summary of recommended actions/solutions.
- Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems to proactively identify solutions to improve processes.
- Proven work ethic with a high level of integrity to build trust with internal partners.
- Collaborative work style with demonstrated success in a team environment.
- Effective problem-solver, team member and results-focused individual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with control frameworks (e.g. NIST 800-53).
- Experience with other automation tools such as Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Apps and/or Power Automate.
- Familiarity in work management solutions such as Jira or Remedy
