What you have

Required Skills:

• ​​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• Minimum of 10 years of solid backend development experience in C#/.Net 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a development team and successfully delivering complex projects within timelines 
• Strong understanding of API-first development, service contracts, OpenAPI specifications, and system integration patterns. 
• Experience with event-driven and streaming architecture using Kafka, Confluent, Azure Event Hubs, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies. 
• Expert with frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET and understanding of UML (Unified Modeling Language) 
• Strong experience in building enterprise scale web solutions based upon n-tier architecture using open-source technologies (Angular / React), Microsoft Web API, and SQL / No-SQL Databases. 
• Strong experience and demonstrate proficiency in web-based technologies such as Angular/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, Backbone, Bootstrap, Node or similar 
• Expert in object-oriented design, SOA, design patterns, development, implementation and maintenance. 
• Exceptional experience designing and implementing REST based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment. 
• Develop solutions and coordinates with teams to enhance application support 
• Enhance processes to ensure legal and ethical data compliance 
• Skilled in breaking down epics into stories and engaging with stakeholders. 
• Strong experience in Cloud Native Applications and Micro Services Architecture 
• Good understanding of latest Architecture and Development Standards, Guidelines and SOLID principles 
• You should be comfortable in a fast-paced customer-focused environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques. 
• Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures. 
• Self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems 
• Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for composing and delivering technical presentations or other forms of documentation to various levels of technical and non-technical management​.

Preferred Skills:

• Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for engineering teams. 
• Coach and mentor engineers while promoting high standards for software design, code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD platforms, GitHub Actions, automated deployments, and Infrastructure as Code tools. 
• Familiarity with observability practices including logging, monitoring, tracing, and operational analytics. 
• Experience implementing security best practices, secure coding standards, and compliance requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. 
• Experience leveraging Generative AI and AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-driven code analysis, automated documentation and testing tools) to improve engineering efficiency and delivery outcomes. 
• Applies analytical thinking to abstract factors, guides outcomes, and sets priorities 
• Consistently maintains clear, open communication to enhance collaboration with others 
• Leverages industry expertise to guide strategy and guide team members in industry and marketplace dynamics 
• Encourages independent problem-solving and decision-making 
• Anticipates reactions from individuals and groups in situations and plans accordingly 
• Seeks new methods or technologies to enhance work outcomes
